Maintenance of apartment

In order for the apartment's installations, appliances and surfaces to last over time, these need to be looked after. In the link below there are instructions on the maintenance of the apartment for which you are responsible as a tenant.
Care instructions

Rent payment

The rent is paid in advance no later than the last weekday before the beginning of the calendar month.

Termination

Termination must be in writing. The notice period is three months and applies from the next month.

Maintenance of the apartment

As a tenant, you have a duty of care, which means that you are obliged to keep the apartment in good condition and to notify the property owner when an error or deficiency occurs.

Laundry

Always clean the laundry room after use and clean the lint filter in the dryer. Respect the washing times specified and do not wash at night or in the early morning. Rules and times for what applies in your property can be found in the laundry room.

Smoking

Absolute smoking is prohibited in the stairs, elevators, laundry room and other common areas in the property. Also consider your neighbors when you smoke on the balcony or in the yard. Of course, it is also not allowed to throw cunts.

Grilling

Grilling on the balcony is not permitted due to the great fire hazard and out of consideration that your fellow residents in the property should not be exposed to smoke and food. However, electric grills may be allowed as long as it does not disturb your neighbours.

Keys

In case of loss of a key that must be replaced, a fee is charged. You can read more about this and various fees in your apartment folder or contact us at the office and we will share the information with you.

Pets

If you have pets in your home, you are responsible for ensuring that they are not a nuisance to your neighbors. Dogs must be kept on a leash in the yard and in the common areas of the property. It is not permitted to feed birds from a window, balcony or yard as this can attract pests such as rats and mice.

Coarse garbage

As a tenant, you are always obliged to dispose of waste and coarser rubbish such as cartons, packaging, old furniture and discarded TVs/computers yourself. In the case, for example, empty cartons or packaging are placed next to recycling bins for newspapers, these will remain there because the Cycle Board, which is in charge of emptying, does not take this type of rubbish. In the worst case, they also do not empty the recycling bin if it is filled with anything other than newspapers. Nor should bulky waste and furniture be placed in the attic unless these are stored in your attic storage.

Disturbing neighbors

In order for you and your neighbors to enjoy themselves, it is required that you take each other into account. It must be quiet in the property between 22.00 and 07.00. Also keep in mind that disruptive work with, for example, a drill or hammer may only be carried out within limited time frames, weekdays between 08.00 - 20.00 and on weekends between 10.00 - 16.00. Draining bath water or other large amounts of water at a late time can cause disturbing noises from the pipes. Note that you, as the contract holder, are also responsible for those who live with you or visit you. Repeated disruptions may result in the termination of your lease.

Stairwell

It is not permitted to store personal belongings, furniture, boxes, prams, bicycles, etc. outside his apartment door. That the stairwell is free of objects is important when evacuating, when transporting patients and not least for fire safety reasons.
